NOTE: This tree will not have any leaves during this time of year since it is dormant. Leaves will begin to form in the Spring.
The Pin Oak is a moderate to fairly rapidly growing tree that will grow to 50-80 ft. Slender, pyramidal when young, open and round headed at maturity. Leaves turn yellow, red, finally russet brown in fall, and many hang on in winter. Plant where its spread will not interfere with walks, drives or street traffic, or trim it often. It is a fine tree for lawns.
Growth per year: 12 to 24 inches
Height: Up to 80 feet
Spread: 50 feet
NOTE: This tree will NOT have leaves from October through March. You may want to consider an Evergreen tree for a better presentation.
